Aurora takes its name from the brightness that fills the sky before the sun rises, and it was the first piece to emerge in this collection, the one that opened all the rest. The body is full and grounded, with an open spout and a handle rising in an arc. Modelled in stoneware, with oxide giving it colour and texture, the surface alternates dark and light areas, like the first tears of light in a sky still to open.

This work is born from the observation of the silent time inscribed in matter, a contemplative presence between sculpture and everyday ritual, the result of an intuitive process of hand modelling.
