Duna holds the memory of the beach sand, the kind that clings to the rocks and stays there, held by salt and wind. The form rises tall and narrow, with two handles that lift from the shoulders and curve back into the body. Modelled in black stoneware, the dark surface is covered with pale grain, crust upon crust, like dark stone dressed in sand after the tide.

This work is born from the observation of the silent time inscribed in matter, a contemplative presence between sculpture and everyday ritual, the result of an intuitive process of hand modelling.

A unique piece, it will not be reproduced.
