Relíquia is the smallest in the collection and the one I keep as most precious. The round body rises into a tall neck flanked by two raised handles, like a small figure that has crossed time to arrive here. Modelled in stoneware, the pale, grainy surface lets the dark show through beneath, matter worn and unearthed, a small object that seems to have been kept for centuries before I touched it.

This work is born from the observation of the silent time inscribed in matter, a contemplative presence between sculpture and everyday ritual, the result of an intuitive process of hand modelling.

A unique piece, it will not be reproduced.
